A Message to Our Members and Supporters:
Thank you for attending our first Membership Mixer for 2010 at the historic William H. Perry Mansion at Heritage Square Museum.
A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the Staff and Board of Directors of the Heritage Square Museum for allowing the Boyle Heights Historical Society to host their event at this site.Mr. Brian Sheridan, Director of Development at Heritage Square Museum, was a wonderful host.We encourage our members, their families and friends to revisit the Perry Mansion in the future.
We also extend our appreciation to our special guests Sylvia and Roland Silva (brother and sister) who grew up in the Perry Mansion when it was still located on Mount Pleasant in Boyle Heights.
It was a pleasure for our Board to meet all who attended. We hope to see you at our upcoming lectures to be held at our “Coffee and Conversation” events.
We hope you will continue to participate and learn more about the rich history of Boyle Heights.
